With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hollingsworth (Atmore, Alabama), born in Nokomis, Florida, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Ann Hollingsworth to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hibbert Lambert and Edna Earl Lambert of Poarch, Alabama; her husband Alton Dewayne Hollingsworth; her daughter Tanga Rena Hollingsworth; her siblings, Hibbert "Buddy" Lambert, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Lambert; and her great grandchild Addison Yvonne.

She is survived by : her children, Ronald Hollingsworth (Barbara) of Enon, Robert Hollingsworth of Enon, Russell Hollingsworth (Suzanne) of Beulah, Florida and Rachael Hamilton (Marty) of Enon, Florida; her sisters, Edna Ship of Poarch, Merle Pope of Nokomis, Glenda McAnally of Nokomis and Pat Barnes of Turnerville, Alabama; her brother-in-law Paul Hollingsworth (Linda) of Robertsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kimberly, David (Nina), Kelly (Curtis), Crystal (Nathan), Rena, Bessie, Kourtnei, Dalton (Grace), Caitlyn and Hannah; and her great grandchildren, Tatum, Austin, Lane, Colton, Nathan, Kharrington, Brody, Hayden, Tucker and Riktavius. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
