He is survived by: his wife Emily Owens; his daughters, Anita Dienes (JP Dienes) and Maria Owens-Wicker (Brian Wicker); and his grandchildren, AJ Dienes, Erica Dienes, Jayden Wicker, Abigail Wicker, Torey Morphew (Justin Morphew) and Destiny Embry (Neal Embry). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His contributions to national security were immeasurable, and his dedication to excellence set a high standard for all who worked alongside him.
