He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Fred Bloom. He is survived by: his wife Neeta; his children, Katrina McPheron (Todd), Tabitha Bloom and Adam Voight (Cyndi); and his siblings, LeRoy Arner (Kodi), Dennis Arner (Karla), Rick Arner (Patty) and Calla Hayden (Ken). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1900 US-72, Athens, AL 35611).
