She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel C. Eaton and Myrtle Mae James Eaton; her husband Robert L. Phinney; her siblings, Curtis Eaton, William Eaton, Kenneth Eaton, Oneal Eaton and Magoline Gibson; her son-in-law Tim Shores; and her nephew Mike Eaton.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Shores, Randy Bailey (Patricia) and Leslie Bailey (Danetra); and her grandchildren, Danielle, Jess (Jacob), Taylor, Cameron (Stephanie), Casey, Dalton, Sydney (Drew), Lucas (Ann Louise), Olivia, Jagger, Grayson, Wyatt, Truss and Virginia.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
