He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Craven; and his son Thomas Tingey Craven, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Ann Zimmerman of Boca Ratón, FL, Tamlyn Grace Page of Coral Gables, Jon Patrick Craven of Oakdale, TN and William York Craven of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Comfort Care Hospice or the Association of Graduates at West Point.
