Steve Anthony Britton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Anthony Britton in Athens, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steve Anthony Britton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon Calvin Britton and Willie Dean "Deanie" Pressnell Britton; his sister Merri Beth Gilliam; and his parents-in-law, Delano and Doris Jean Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Ryne Britton of Athens, Hannah Britton Crumbley (Chase) of Rogersville and Trent Andrew Britton (Robbie Pettus) of Florence; his granddaughters, Merri Britton Crumbley and Mallory Blair Crumbley; his siblings, Pam Christopher (Cliff) of Athens, LeaAnn McBay (Blake) of Rogersville and Rodney Britton (Tammy) of Athens; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Gilliam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Rogersville (222 College St, Rogersville, AL 35652). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Steve's honor.
