He is survived by: his children, Matthew Carpenter (Tasha) and Alicia Coggin (Stacy); his sister Lona Faye Jackson; and his grandchildren, Emma Coggin, Paislee Carpenter, Brayden Carpenter, Sam Coggin and Bennett Carpenter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his entire family.
