She was predeceased by: her parents, Louona Chambers Johnson and Dwight Johnson of Summerdale, AL. She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Renee Barnes of Athens; her granddaughter Heather LeAnne Barnes of Athens; her siblings, Marjorie Young of Athens and Bobby; her sisters-in-law, Judy Johnson, Connie Johnson and Donna Johnson; and her close friend Peggy Blakey (Blankenship). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
