She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie Gilbert; her parent Carmel; and her brothers, Steve Day and James Day. She is survived by: her children, Kim Adams (Ricky), Kelly Clemmons (Marty) and Johnathan Gilbert; her grandchildren, Lance Adams (Megan), Jacob Clemmons, Amber Brown (Justin), Ashley Lackey (Chris) and Josiah Clemmons; her great grandchildren, Bentley Brown, Kenadee Brown and Huntleigh Adams; and her brother Scott Day (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
