We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 90, Marvilene Croley Hargrove of Athens, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Marvin Croley and Hattie Vernella Boyd Croley; her husband Jimmy Hargrove; and her son Billy Hargrove. She is survived by: her children, Becky A. Lynn (Joel) of Athens and David Hargrove (Regina) of Athens; her siblings, Kenneth Croley (Sadie) of Athens, Andy Croley (Cathy) of Dunn, NC, Rena Turner of Athens, Barbara Davis of Coco Beach, FL and Sandra Wales of Harvest; her grandchildren, Amy Todd (Richard), Mitzi Woodfin (Eric), Matthew Lynn (Sherri), Brianne Hargrove and Emma Hargrove; her great grandchildren, Joshua Todd (Katya), Michael Todd, Brandon Todd, Mason Woodfin, Evan Woodfin, Emily Lynn and Allison Lynn; and also Gilberts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McConnell Memorial Chapel (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613).
