It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marsha Joseph Smith (Athens, Alabama), who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe John Joseph and Yvonne Dennis Joseph. She is survived by: her husband Billy Gaines Smith Jr.; her children, Ashley Smith Byrd (Andy), Jennifer Smith Bird (Whit) and Gaines Smith (Chasity); her grandchildren, Davis, Jenny Lynn, Andrew, Hayden and Bodee; her siblings, Renee Kennedy (Randall), Pamela Moore, Lauren Smith (Hal), Dennis Joseph (Linda) and Joe Joseph (Tricia); and her siblings-in-law, John Smith (Kandye) and Pattye Wilson (Robert).
