He is survived by: his wife Joy Renee Townsend; his sisters, Joyce Eubanks (late Billy Don) of Stella, TN and Joan McMurtery (Tom) of Athens, AL; his children, Jackie Hargrove (Edward) of Columbian, TN, Molly McCrary (Caleb) of Anderson, AL and Chad Townsend of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Chris, Dustin, Jessica, Cason, Ford, Sawyer and Brody; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Wells, Bentley and Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
