He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carwile and Virta Conn Carwile; his daughter Carla Carwile; and his siblings, Buddy Carwile, Annette Lauderdale and Judy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Deborah Lewis (Roger), Geri Green, Michelle Thompson (Buck) and Michael Ball; his sisters, Dorothy Lyles and Patsy Young; his grandchildren, Nicole, Summer, Terry, Kaitlyn, Haley, Savannah and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Winter, Michael, Annajean, Evelyn and Braelynn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
