It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Allen Martin of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Martin (Susie); and his siblings, Al Martin, Bobby Martin, Billy Martin, Lonnie Martin, Ike Martin, Glenda Campbell and Carol Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Brewer (Jamie) and Jeff Martin (Annie); his sisters, Ann Sledge and Brenda Brown; his grandchildren, Baylee Brewer, Logan Martin, Kayla Martin and Mason West; and his great grandchild Stella Martin.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McConnell Memorial Chapel (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613).
