Gilbert Davis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilbert Davis of Athens, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Golden Davis and Evelyn Gregory Davis; his son Barry Davis; and his brother David Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jane Davis; his son Bruce Davis (Denise); his granddaughter Briana Kendrick (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Kayden and Kolton Kendrick; his grandchildren, Chance Davis (Sierra) and Kylie Russell (Tanner); his daughter-in-law Dana Davis; and his brothers, Tom Davis (Peggy) and Larry Davis (Cynthia).

In memory of Mr. Davis, the family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
