She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Kimbrough and Iver Willard Kimbrough; her former husband Hansel Slaton; her husband Leander "Mutt" Bailey; and her son-in-law Byron Romine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Slaton, Wanda McBrayer (Rhett) and Leigh Ann Romine; her grandchildren, Layton Romine and Anna Romine; and her siblings, Rosa Alexander, Donnie Putman and Jerry Kimbrough. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
