He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart A. Conkey Sr. and Dorothy Young Conkey; his wife Arlene L. Conkey; and his children, Gary M. Conkey, Jr. and Wendy Conkey Benedict.
He is survived by: his son Andrew Conkey of Norwich; his stepchildren, Teri Wright (Don) of Athens, Alabama and Zeland Boice of Sherburne; and his brother Stuart A. Conkey Jr. of Ohio. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
