It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Florence McKinney of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Morgan and Thelma Morgan; her husband J. W. McKinney, Jr.; her sister Wilma Wallace; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Gee and Melvin Wallace.

She is survived by: her sons, Randy McKinney (Beth) and Jeff McKinney (Teresa); her grandchildren, Hunter McKinney (Calli), Joshua McKinney, Jordan McKinney, Coner McKinney (Ramsey) and Dalton McKinney; and her sister Kay Adcock (Danny).
