He was predeceased by: his parents, Almon Hathcoat and Mary Frances Siniard Hathcoat; and his grandchildren, Taylor Hathcoat and Grant Hathcoat. He is survived by: his wife Sue Hathcoat; his children, Scott Hathcoat of Athens, Darin Hathcoat of Athens, Terry Hathcoat of Athens and Karen Pressnell (Steve) of Elkmont; his grandchildren, Kristin, McKenzie, Kanyon and Grayson; and his great grandchildren, Bo-Hansen and Dierks. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
