He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Wilson; and his parents, Mary Wilson and Chester Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Mitzi Casebolt (Donnie) of Foley, AL, Felicia Lambert (Greg) of Athens, AL, Traci Gaston (Marty) of Athens, AL, Brad Wilson (Robin) of Iowa City, IA and Sandra Weatherford (Greg) of Lester, AL.; his brothers, Steve Wilson of Cookeville, TN and Bob Wilson of Portsmouth, OH.; and his grandchildren, Donnie Jr., Brandon, Taylor, Jessica, Gregory, Jackson, April, Avery, Tucker and Anslee. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
