She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Goforth, Jr. Goforth and Dody Goforth. She is survived by: her sister Judith Galligan; her niece Becca Galligan; and her great-nieces, Brynlee and Skylar Adams.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel (711 Memorial Dr SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Decatur City Cemetery (1001 Wilson St NW, Decatur, AL 35601).
