He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Hoenig Jr. and Theresa Lorene Schmuck Hoenig; and his mother-in-law Elsie Hood. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Andrew Hoenig (Lori) and Joseph George Hoenig (Nicole); his sisters, Carol Sandlin and Pam Stead; his grandchildren, Lindsey Hoenig, Rachel Hoenig, Carley Hoenig, Ethan Hoenig (Karla) and Evan Hoenig; and his great grandchild Valentina Rose.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Limestone County Hospice in memory of Andrew.
