He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Wise and Jeanette Wise. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wise; his children, Teresa Henson (Chad), Emily Wakefield (Billy) and Russell Wise (Christi); his grandchildren, Zac Bryan, Jessica Selman (Matt), Mitchell Smith, Will Wakefield (Lindsey), James Wakefield (Brianna), Ashlynne Maples (Daniel), Jackie Northington and Alex Wise; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Wakefield, Araceli Wakefield, Ellie Wakefield, Hudson Blakely, Grayson Maples and Georgia Shull; and his siblings, Louis Wise and Jammie Tice.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (3993 Shoal Creek Rd, Ashville, AL 35953). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
