He was predeceased by: his parents, Floy Gunn Hobbs and Robert Black Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hare Hobbs; his sons, David Hobbs (Lori), Justin Hobbs (Lin) and Michael Hobbs (Cara); his stepsons, Jason Gilchrist (Bridgette) and Daniel Gilchrist (Brandy); his siblings, James Paul Hobbs (Beth) and Cathy Hobbs McNeil (Norman); and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Aaliya, Jasmine, Ameera and Finlay. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
