He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Simmons and Frances Simmons; and his siblings, Jay Simmons and Doris Beans. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Simmons; and his sisters, Emily Taylor (Mark), Cindy Fayet, Joy Wallace (Dewayne) and Carrie Thompson (Clint). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
