She was predeceased by: her former husband Roger Larry Smith; and her parents, Mary Allgood England and Artis Allgood. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Wayne Pond; her children, Brooke Smith Mann (Kyle) of Oxford and Danny Smith of Oxford, AL; her stepchildren, Donya Mulkey (James) of Pell City and Michael Pond (Susan) of Gulf Breeze, FL; her siblings, Carol Kirk (John) of Anniston, Lynn Freeman of Anniston and Glenn Allgood (Michelle) of Lincoln, AL; and her grandchildren, Lauren Smith, Parker Smith, Houston Mann, Avery Mann, Morgan Mann, Elisha Cook, Douglas Mulkey, Grayson Pond and Hazel Pond. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
