She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Mashburn; her parents, Frank Gortney and Ethel Gortney; her grandson Daniel Mashburn; and her brothers, Albert Gortney, Willie Gortney and Henry Gortney.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Mashburn (Natalie), JC Mashburn (Sharon), John Mashburn, Andrew Mashburn and Judy Jacobs (Mike); and her siblings, Irene Toole, Gladys Morton, Norman Gortney and Bobby Gortney. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
