He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hare; his children, Keri Hare (Joey) and Joshua Hare; his grandchildren, Gavin Hare, Andrea Smith, Christopher Brown, Lily Hare, Bethaney Smith, Asher Hare, Aubree Funderburg, Addison Funderburg and Avery Funderburg; and his siblings, Susan Standifer and Ricky Hare.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department, Ashville High School FFA, or Ashville High School Wrestling.
