She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas R. Burnett; her daughter Pricilla Burnett Shaw; her parents, Eugene P. Gamble and Martha Gamble; and her son-in-law Bobby Owens.

She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Burnett (Dianne) and James Burnett (Beverly); her son-in-law Skip Shaw; her daughters, Deborah Burnett Meadows (Greg) and Becky Burnett Owens; and her siblings, Donald Gamble (Anna), Ike Gamble (Pat), Billie Jean Howard and Judy Gamble Lindsey. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
