He was predeceased by: his wife Flora Sanders Harris; his parents, Dwight Harris and Lucille Harris; and his siblings, Geraldine Harris Sanders, Wallace Harris, A. J. Harris, Dwight "Buck" Harris, Jr. and Wayne Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Ward (Mark), Patsy Taylor (Allan) and Gary Harris (Cheryl); his sister Mary Lucille Beck; and his close friend Gail Campbell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
