He is survived by: his wife Judy Whitmire Sampley; his children, Ross Dean Sampley and Robyn Sampley Meade (Everett); his grandchildren, Cameron Ross Sampley and Breanna Dawn Rooks (Bree); and his cousins, Ella Lindsey, Carol Dobbins (Tommy), Glenda Robinson (Robbie) and Reggie Watts (Judy). He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
