He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fagan and Lucy Fagan; his wife Mary Lou; and his sister Eileen. He is survived by: his close friend Audrey Mansuy; and his children, Patricia Sransky (Ken), William Fagan (Donna), John Fagan (Christi), Thomas Fagan (Susan) and Daniel Fagan (Lisa). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
