It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Frances Whisenant of Ashville, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Whisenant and Prince Whisenant; and her siblings, Billy Mack Whisenant, J. L. Whisenant and Stella Margaret Whisenant.

She is survived by: her brother Arthur (Bo) Whisenant (Bonnie); her niece Pattie Whisenant Pender (Greg); her great-nephew Christopher Pender (Alexandria); and also Amelia Blake Pender.
