He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Darnell (Courtney) and Cheri Kendrick (Hoyt); his grandchildren, Micah, Maci Darnell, Brandon, Alecia Kendrick (Jason), Keith, Dalton Rice-Thompson, Sharon Haney (Trent), Art Barnard, Jeremy Echols, Jack Anderson and Matthew Woods; his sister-in-law Linda Gilliland; and his niece Melinda Gilliland.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
