He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Knop and Louise Mitchell Knop; and his half-sister Ruth Medley. He is survived by: his wife Delilah McCormick Knop; and his siblings-in-law, Delores M. Hill of Ashland and Bo McCormick (Delwyn) of Cragford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
