Ruby Lee Denney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 81, Ruby Lee Denney of Ashland, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Preston Fomby and Cora Lee Waller Fomby; her daughter Robin Michelle Denney; and her brothers, Lamar Fomby and Olen Caspar Fomby.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. John Harold Denney of Ashland; her daughter Julia Denney Mattox (David) of Lineville; her grandchildren, Brandon Mattox (Heather) and Jennifer McCollough (Tim Salster); her great grandchildren, Jalen Clarke, Karson Mattox, Karlee Mattox, Jackson McCollough and Luke McCollough; her great great grandchild Ralynn Miles; and her sister Angela Lucas (Randall) of Alexander City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
