He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ford Davidson Sr. and Barbara Jean Koberg Davidson; and his brother Roger Dale Davidson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Davidson of Ashland; his children, Mitzi Davidson of Five Points, Amanda Rice (Wayne Tyner) of Ashland, Shiann Woodard of Ashland and Craig Davidson (Mitsy) of Woodland; and his siblings, Shelby Jean Hardy (Randy) of Griffin, GA, Shirley Ann Davidson of Bowden, GA, Bruce Davidson (Brenda) of Wadley, Terry Davidson (Kae) of Roanoke and Johnny Ray Davidson of Roanoke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
