She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whitten and Amarylis Watts Monroe. She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Colburn Franko (Stephen) of Smith Station; her sisters, Carol Monroe Macoy of Ashland, Sharon Goldman Watson (Lew) of Lincoln and Jackie Monroe Powers (Curt) of Elkmont; and her pets, Luna, Hardy, Tango and Daisy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
