He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lanthrip and Violet Lanthrip; his grandson Zachary Osbourn; and his siblings, Jovon Jones, Paula Lanthrip, Edward Waites and Oliver Handley Lanthrip.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lanthrip; his children, Shelby Osbourn (Wayne) of Ashland, Elizabeth Ann Blankenship (Richie) of Alexander City and Timothy Marvin Lanthrip (Tina) of Alexander City; his grandchildren, Sunshine Cragier (Casey), Dustin Osbourn (Kayla), Chris Lanthrip, Cody Lanthrip (Christina), Jackie Cooper, Kerri Blankenship and Joseph Blankenship; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Lydie, Shelby Grace, Ashton and Caroline. He is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.
