She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Isaac Tinney and Mildred Mozelle Denney Tinney; her husband Harold Clayton Stanford; and her siblings, Melvin Tinney and Nettie Gaye Haggerty.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Stanford Colburn (Victor), Steve Stanford (Debrah) of Ashland and Stanley Stanford (Kathleen) of Ashland; and her grandchildren, Joseph Stanford (Heather), Jeremy Stanford (Caitlin), Jenna Brown (Mark), Jamie Watts (Neil), Ashley Williams (Basil), Stephanie Tobin (Koty) and Randy Stanford (Elizabeth). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
