She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arthur Hampton and Elfie Lawson Hampton; and her grandson Oscar Sherrer. She is survived by: her husband John "Wayne" Sherrer of Hackneyville; her children, Machelle Peters of Alexander City, Mary Henry of Ashville, Carolyn Richardson (Randy) of Ashland, Matthew Sherrer (Sherry) of Texas, William Sherrer of Alexander City, James Sherrer of Mellow Valley and Christopher Sherrer of Hackneyville; her grandchildren, Londyn Sherrer, Jason Henry (Angel), Cynthia Sherrer, Travis Sherrer, Dexter Peters (Katlin), Attie Hayes and Andrew Sherrer (Christie); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Izayah, Jayden, Kindrick, Max, Grayson and Caleb; and her sister June Hampton.
