She was predeceased by: her parents, Seaborn Jennings Allen and Lillie Mae Bowen Allen; her husband Quinton Lovelady; her son Paul Lovelady; and her siblings, Gladys McGinty, Floyd Allen, Clyde Allen and Arthur Allen.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara L. James (Ronnie); her sister Edith Williams (Bill) of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Kevin James Sr., Hanley James and Ronnifer Robertson; and her great grandchildren, Logan Tucker, Kelsey Tucker, Kevin James Jr. and Clark James.
