He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Eugene Nolan and Zelma Aulos Nolan; his wife Shelby Jean Nolan; his granddaughter Sheree Gaither Rich; and his sisters, Dorothy Williams and Oneida Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Sue Mize of Jemison and Doug Nolan (Michelle) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Starr Gaither Kendrick, Shaunda Mitchell (Ryan), Whitney Jones (Brandon) and Seth Nolan (Felicia); his great grandchildren, Noah Grace Stafford, Rylan Mitchell, Braylon Stafford, Nolan Kendrick, Lincoln Mitchell, Claire Jones, Kyleigh Jones, Nolan Jones, Wells Nolan, Colton Jones, Aubrey Nolan, Morgan Nolan and Casey Nolan; and his siblings, Nellie Ray, Don Nolan and Arnold Nolan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
