It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Tackett of Ashland, Alabama, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Tackett and Norma Tackett; and his siblings, Dallas Lee Tackett, Glen Tackett, Paul Tackett, Elizabeth Pinkerton and Mary Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Omie Tackett; his son Chris Tackett; his granddaughter Faith Tackett; and his sisters, Velvadean Stepp, Ruth Hughes (Roger), Martha Bedrin (Joseph) and Naomi Miller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and family.
