He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Simpkins (Ronnie) of Pell City, Brenda Dickinson (Jim) of Sylacauga and David Curlee (Martha) of Opelika; his sisters, Katie Gravette of Ashland and Ailene Foster (Pete) of Bridgeport; his sister-in-law Joyce Curlee of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Emily Beth Dickinson, Hannah Lee Thomas (Jordan) and Ollie Thorpe Simpkins.
