He is survived by: his wife Lieselotte Grogan of Ashland; his children, Caroline Meek (Terry) of Ashland and Francis E. Grogan (Amy) of Talladega; his siblings, Billy Grogan (Janet) of Cragford and Mary McClellan of Ashland; his sister-in-law Judy Grogan; and his grandchildren, Joseph Meek (Morgan), Kristen Elliot (Christopher), Justin Meek (Rebecca), Crimson Williams (Michael), Erik Strickland (Autumn) and Haley Pressley. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
