He is survived by: his children, Tammey Burchfield (Steven) of Lineville and Tommy Lee Odom (Tammi) of Deatsville; his grandchildren, Brandon McVey (Amanda), Brandi Haynes (Chris), J. T. Odom (Jessica), Joshua Odom (Kati), Annabelle Odom and Thomas R. L. Odom Jr.; his sister Kay Milligan of Nolensville, TN; and his close friend Sister Alice Watts of Ashland. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
