He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Otto Johnson Sr. and Mildred Godbee Johnson; and his sister Secina Turner. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Johnson of Barfield; and his children, Tabitha Stone (Tony), Bridget Kelley (Donny), Troy Johnson (Gail) of Salem, AL and Gary Tyrell Johnson (Cheryle) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
