She was predeceased by: her parents, Woody Moore and Myrtle Lee Moore; her husband W. N. "Nelson" Poe; and her siblings, Kathryn Reeves, Ora Lee Caldwell, C. S., Alec, Allen and Timothy Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Wayne Poe (Marsha) of Wadley, Nevarrah King (Bob) of Ashland, Deborah Streetman (Ricky) of Montgomery and Gary Poe (Melissa) of Alexander City; and her brother Woody Farrell Moore of Talladega. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She had a servant's heart, working as a volunteer with hospice until Covid hit in 2020 and was a member of the Clay County Historical Society.
