It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Jean Lambert of Ashland, Alabama, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on February 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thurman Ralph Lambert; her parents, Frank Mitchell and Minnie Mitchell; her sons, Kenneth Lambert and Jimmy Lambert; her siblings, Leeann Stewart, Ruby Moon, Leon Mitchell, Hollis Mitchell and Billy Mitchell; her granddaughter Abby Hunter; and her great grandchildren, Lucy Hunter and Elizabeth Cruise Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hurst (Jerry), Brenda Koch (Joe), Sherry Odom (Jeff), Carol Snow (Forest), Charlene Cotton (Andy), Ray Lambert (Monette) and Ralph "Junior" Lambert (Kim); and her siblings, Patsy Wilt, Erlene Moore, Louise Mitchell and Franklin Mitchell (Becky). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren, several other extended family members and friends.
